Preliminary investigations suggest that the vehicle may have been serviced at unauthorized centers in the past, which could have contributed to the technical malfunction. The smoke appeared while the vehicle was being taken to the company’s service center for repairs, claims the company.

In response to the situation, the company proactively managed the incident for safety precautions. According to the initial investigation, there is no evidence of damage to either the battery or the motor, but further investigations are ongoing.

The carmaker has also encouraged its customers to have their vehicles serviced or repaired exclusively at authorized workshops to prevent similar mishaps.
